Arike Ogunbowale

Arike Ogunbowale is an American professional in basketball for the Dallas Wings in the Women's National Basketball Association. She played in the NCAA basketball tournament for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, prior to being selected by the Wings with the fifth first overall pick in the 2019 WNBA draft. Arike Ogunbowale hails from Milwaukee Wisconsin native born to Yolanda Ogunbowale. Her brothers are Mario (26 an old) and Dare Ogunbowale (20 years old). She finished her high school career with 73 career starts and finishes her career with 1,477 points and 739 rebound. Ogunbowale competed at her first 2013 FIBA Americas U16 Championship 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship and 2013 FIBA 3x3 U18 Championship and was awarded Gold medals at both. On July 7 2014 she was also named for the 2014 USA Youth Olympic Women's Basketball Team. Ogunbowale was also named to the ACC All-Freshman Team following her debut year as a collegiate player.
