Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox's parents are Dorothy Farquharson and Thomas Allison Lennox. Dorothy Farquharson & Thomas Allison Lennox is the name of her parents. Lennox was admitted to the Royal Academy of Music in London in the 1970s where she learned the flute piano and the harpsichord over three years. She lived off of an allowance for students and went off on a part-time job to supplement her income. Lennox wasn't satisfied with the level of her skills compared to other students at Royal Academy and began looking for alternative paths. Lennox was initially a flute-player in the band Dragons Playground. She left the band when the band was featured to I.T.V.s talent competition New Faces. Her main role was as the singer of The Tourists from 1977 until in 1980. As part of this group, she was introduced to Dave Stewart. Together they would form the Eurythmics the pop group. Lennox started working on her solo debut album Diva that was out in 1992. This album became a huge achievement with regard to sales and the critical acclaim. Nostalgia Lennoxs 6th solo album was launched in October of 2014. The C.D. Lennox has chosen her favorite jazz, blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera is a collection of four piano improvisations was published by Lennox in May 2019. The E.P. Her first solo album along with her work at the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art, titled "Now I Let You go." Annie Lennox (born December 25 1955) is a Scottish political activist and singer. Following a modest successes as a part of the group known as The Tourists in the late 1970s she and fellow musician Dave Stewart went on to become internationally renowned as the duo known as Eurythmics during the 1980s. Lennox's 1992 debut album Diva featured a number of hit songs like Why, the World is Broken Glass. Medusa the 1995 studio album features covers of songs like No MoreILove Yous andA Whiter Shade of Pale. She is credited with six studio albums solo and one compilation.
